Men's Ministry
The Ministry of Men is focused on equipping the male participants of CACCTA “for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:12). We are convinced that male leadership is God’s design for both, our families and the local church. In the same way the apostle Peter charged the elders of the church, we believe that males are to be prepared to “shepherd” those within their circle of influence, “exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge but proving to be examples to the flock” (1 Peter 5:2-3). To that end, the Men of Valor Team at CACCTA is committed to initiating, planning, and implementing a variety of opportunities for men to:
Be Equipped. To engage in activities that will enable men to fulfill the good work which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them (individually and collectively).
Unite. To engage in activities that will encourage men of CACCTA to preserve and promote the unity we have in Christ. i.e. Develop authentic and accountable relationships with one another.
Invite. To engage in activities that allow the men of CACCTA to introduce unbelieving friends, family members and associates to other men at CACCTA
The guiding Scripture passage for the Ministry of Men at CACCTA is 1 Corinthians 16:13-14:
Men Prayer Meeting. Held 2nd Sunday after church service.
